If you type the name of any country, state, building, or really any "area", you get a little interactable outline of that place that you can drag around the map. As long as OpenStreetMap knows about it, the site will render it, so the options are really endless: parks, airports, islands, neighborhoods, you name it. I spent a long time refining how the translation algorithm works, but I think I have it tuned to within 5-10% complete accuracy with the real thing.
